1. Privacy Statement
This Privacy Policy applies to the Bookby application on iOS and Android (hereinafter referred to as "Application", "App" or "Service") and the websites www.bookby.app and blog.bookby.app (hereinafter referred to as "Website" or "Service").
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.
Service is provided by sf-labs sp. z o.o., ul. Józefa Marcika 6, 30-443 Kraków, Polska, REGON: 388297924, NIP: 6793213075 (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider"), which collects and controls the information you provide through Service.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information Collection and Use
For a better experience while using our Service, to enable registration, listing or browsing books and providing chat communication, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to username, email and location. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
When you register in our Service and create book offers using our Service, your certain personal information may be visible to other Service users. This may include your username and location. Please note, any information you provide to other users can always be shared by them with others so please be careful in this aspect.
When you use the chat feature in our Service, we collect information that you choose to pass on to other users through that feature. This includes data of the member you are communicating with, messages, date and time of messages, shared photos, other data submitted in messages. Although we do not process messages sent directly, their contents may be visible to software engineers working on our Service.
3. Use of Third Party Services
The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

https://aws.amazon.com/privacy. - We use Facebook SDK to automatically log in the App installations, the App launches, in-app purchases within the App, registering in the App, searching with filters in the App, adding and editing a saved filter, adding a book, bumping a book, promoting a book and increasing the limit of books and filters. On Android, the Google advertising ID assigned to the device is used for this purpose. Google Advertising Identifier (AAID) is a device identifier for advertisers that allows them to anonymously track a user's advertising activity on Android devices. On the iOS platform, SKAdNetwork is used instead of the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA). SKAdNetwork helps advertisers measure the success of advertising campaigns while maintaining user privacy. 4. Location
Your location is manually provided by you or with the use of location services. If you do allow us to automatically determine your location we are going to use various technologies, including IP address, GPS, Wi-Fi access points and mobile towers. Your location data allows us to show you books near you and helps you in creating book offers within your location. You can always change access to your location data by going to the settings on your device and disabling the permissions related to location sharing.
5. Client and Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, we collect data and information, including through third party products, on your phone. This data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device specification, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
6. Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.
This Service and third party code or libraries may use cookies to collect information. You have an option to either accept or refuse these cookies. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
7. Security
All the information we receive about you are stored on secure servers and we have implemented technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. We continually evaluate our software through regular testing to minimize security risks. In addition, we ensure that all communication with our Service is encrypted using TLS technology.
Please note that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is completely secure and there is a risk that your personal data may be accessed by unauthorised third parties.
8. Links to Other Sites
This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review privacy policies of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, practices of any third-party sites or services.
9. Children’s Privacy
This Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from people under 18. In the case we discover that someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
10. Right to request erasure
You have a right to request the deletion of your personal data collected by us. To make a request please contact us or remove the account in your profile in the application. Deletion of an account will not cover past tracking information, sent and received messages and current and archived books' offers. However, this data will no longer be associated with your username, email and location.
11.Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
